Rob is the founder and Managing Partner of The Kieckhefer Group. Focusing his securities career on retirement plans, Rob works closely with business owners by assisting them with their investment and retirement planning needs. Rob attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, earning a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Rob previously served on the EdVest 529 College Savings Board as Head of Investment Commitee, as an appointee of the Wisconsin State Department of the Treasury and the Governor. Rob holds the FINRA series S65 registrations, as well as his Wisconsin life and health insurance licenses. He and his wife, Maryglen, currently reside in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Evan Salmela joined The Kieckhefer Group in 2021. He traded S&P options as a floor trader at the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade) for 12 years, before making the switch to wealth management. Evan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, with a concentration in Finance, from Cornell University. He earned his CFA charter and is a member of the CFA Society of Milwaukee. Originally from Whitefish Bay, Evan graduated from University School of Milwaukee in 2001. A lifetime hockey player, he went on to play 4 years of college hockey at Cornell. He currently resides in Lake Bluff and is married with 4 children.
